Delete your account
You can delete your Tasks4Access account and associated data without reinstalling the app.
In the app (fastest)
Open Tasks4Access, sign in as a parent, and go to Account → Danger zone → Delete account. You’ll be shown exactly what happens before you confirm, and you’ll need to re-enter your password to finish.
Without the app
If you no longer have the app installed, email hello@tasks4access.com from the address on your account (or via our Contact page) with the subject line “Delete my account”, and we will process the deletion request for you. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, to make sure we’re not deleting the wrong account.
What deleting your account does
- Removes your login and profile from Tasks4Access.
- If you are the only parent on your family, removes every child, device pairing, task, and app restriction on that family, including any pending “Needs More Work” feedback notes on those tasks (these already expire automatically within a maximum of 7 days even without account deletion, see our Privacy Policy).
- If another parent shares your family, only your own login is removed; the family, children, devices and tasks are unaffected for the remaining parent.
- Signs you out of the app on every device immediately.
What we keep, and why
Billing/payment history and any referral or partner-commission records that involve your family are kept for financial record-keeping, in a form that no longer identifies you personally. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail behind this.
Your subscription
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active Stripe subscription. Please cancel first from Account → Manage subscription in the app (or via the Stripe billing portal link it opens), or contact us before deleting your account, so you are not charged after deletion.
How long it takes
An in-app deletion takes effect immediately. An email request is processed as soon as we can confirm it’s genuinely you, normally within a few business days.
