How the reward mechanism works

Every reward in Tasks4Access starts as a task. A parent creates it, picks which apps stay restricted on the child’s device until it’s done, and decides what the reward is: a set amount of unlocked time, or ongoing access until the parent changes it. The child completes the task and submits it; that’s the trigger for review, not for unlocking anything automatically.

A parent then reviews it from their own dashboard: they approve it, or mark it “Needs More Work” with a short private note explaining what to fix, so the child can resubmit the same task. Only an approval unlocks the reward. This single approval step is what separates Tasks4Access from a plain screen-time timer or blanket app blocker: the reward is earned through something the parent has verified, not granted on a schedule or taken on trust.
